On the Pacific coast of Oaxaca, there lies a unique retreat nestled under the southern arc of the sunlight reaching across the San Agustinillo Bay from east to west all day long. It truely offers the most spectacular panoramic sea view you can find in the Mazunte / San Agustinillo area! Named after the Mayan word for ‘light’ and all that the idea of light signifies, this dream destination is not to be missed! Puerto Escondido and Huatulco airports are both about an hour drive away from this gem. Participants will arrange for their own transportation both ways.

Meals
Starting with dinner on the day of your arrival, and ending with breakfast on the day of your departure, we will have three daily meals, wonderfully prepared and served, providing you ample time in the morning, afternoon, and evening to enjoy.

These delicious Mexican style dishes are made from fresh local produce, regional purveyors, and served buffet style featuring both vegetarian, pescatarian and chicken dishes to dazzle your taste buds and nourish your body. Most diets can be accommodated as long as the kitchen is notified in advance.
Yoga
Two daily sessions will be offered with the exception of any day where the majority of the group is out on a tour. Morning practice will be more energetic (Vinyasa style), and late afternoon/evening's practice will be Yin/Restorative. Times to be specified at a later time, once our group has been able to fully commit to this retreat.

On the day of arrival, there will be only one evening class (Yin/Restorative), and on the day of departure, there will be one morning class offered.
Accommodations
There are seven types of room styles, which are scattered about the meticulously landscaped grounds of the Retreat Center, each designed to delight your viewing pleasure with either a lush garden view rich in foliage, or an epic mountain view. These range from charming suites (3 available) with wraparound porches to stylish room options and A-Frame cottages.

I encourage you to partake in some of the scheduled guided tours, activities, and Yoga, but more importantly, trust your intuition and simply rest and relax if you like. Whether it's going for a dip in the pool to enjoy a few lazy laps, reading a good book you've been putting off for the right moment, basking in the sunlight, or taking advantage of the on-site Spa which offers an array of massage and body treatments.
